Why You Should Always Eat Apple Fritters, Pt. 2
You know that time when you go to your favorite local burger joint, grab a few fries, and then order a dozen apple fries?
I mean, you really think about that, right?
Well, now you can eat the fries and the apple.
Apple Fritter, which is the name of a brand of apple fries, has a lot going for it.
They’re light, fluffy, and incredibly flavorful.
The fries themselves are fluffy, soft, and delicious, and they’re packed with all the nutrients you need to eat a healthy meal.
While you might be tempted to skip the apple fries altogether, they’re not necessarily bad.
For one, they taste great, especially when mixed with some maple syrup and the sweet, creamy, and crunchy toppings of apple cream cheese, butter, and bacon.
Plus, you’ll feel fuller after eating them.
The only downside is that you’ll probably have to wait at least an hour before the fries arrive.
So, why not make these delicious apple friezes a regular part of your diet?
They’re packed full of protein, fiber, and vitamins, and if you want to add a little sweetness to your meal, add a few drops of apple cider vinegar.
Here are a few tips to make apple fries a meal in your own kitchen:1.
Make the fritters ahead of time.
I typically make the fries at around 11am or 1pm, so that they’ll be ready to eat when I get home from work.2.
Put them in the freezer before you cook them.
I’ve been known to freeze them in a large Ziploc bag and just toss them in there after they’ve been thawed.
Freeze the frievers in the microwave, but not in the oven.
Make your own apple cider cider vinegar, but I highly recommend using apple juice instead of water.
Serve them with homemade maple syrup.
I use apple cider and maple syrup to add some sweetness and flavor to the fries.
Add apple cream and bacon to your food.
I love apple bacon, and it adds a nice crunchy layer to the frito.
Cook the frijes in the slow cooker.
You can cook them on the stovetop or in a slow cooker, but the frites will be cooked longer.
Serve with some homemade breadcrumbs.
This is a great option for dipping the fries into, and the fries will stay crunchy all day long.
Make them vegan by using a potato peeler.
This makes them incredibly easy to peel.
