How to Buy Apple products at Walmart without the hassle of online shopping
Walmart has banned online shoppers from buying iPhones and iPads, while it has limited the ability to order other electronics, such as laptops and game consoles.
The retailer announced Wednesday that all Apple products will be prohibited from purchase online until Sept. 29, while iPads and iPhones will be available in stores starting Friday, July 11.
In a blog post, Walmart’s chief financial officer said the decision is designed to “strengthen our retail network and reduce risk for our customers.”
The online shopping ban comes as Apple faces a wave of legal scrutiny over alleged privacy violations in its supply chain.
The company is under fire for its handling of data from iPhone and iPad owners, and also faces allegations that it allowed data collection on Apple customers without their knowledge.
