How Apple’s new Corer OS works
Apple Corer is a new open source operating system designed for mobile devices and aimed at improving performance and security.
It is based on the Apple iOS platform and features Apple’s proprietary Core Audio, a sound processor which can handle many of the sound-processing tasks on smartphones.
The OS is available for download for a $99.99 price tag.
Apple announced the new OS at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on Wednesday, where it introduced a number of new features to help the company boost its mobile devices’ performance.
